Gouverneur canadien pour la SMPTE, Sylvain en est devenu membre en 1990, et depuis 2009, il contribue à différents comités du SMPTE et en partie responsables de la rédaction des standards, dont le ST 2110. Il fait partie de l’équipe Grass Valley (anciennement Miranda) depuis 1994. Au fil des ans, il a dirigé plusieurs équipes au niveau de la conception de nombreuses plateformes modulaires pour l’entreprise. Sylvain est actuellement Architecte de système et «Product Owner», et est également étroitement impliqué au niveau des technologies émergentes.

Canadian Governor for the SMPTE, Sylvain became a member in 1990, and since 2009, he has contributed to various SMPTE committees and is partly responsible for drafting standards, including ST 2110. He is part of the Grass Valley team (formerly Miranda) since 1994. Over the years, he has led several teams in the design of many modular platforms for the company. Sylvain is currently a System Architect and “Product Owner”, and is also closely involved in emerging technologies.
