François est à l'emploi de CBC/Radio-Canada depuis 2004. Il a joint la Société en tant que stagiaire, concepteur de systèmes de diffusion puis fut promu ingénieur en électronique en 2005. Dans ce rôle, il a participé à un large éventail de projets et a eu différentes responsabilités telles que la conception de systèmes numériques, de télévision et de radio, la préparation de plans et devis ainsi que la gestion financière et la supervision de projets de grande envergure. De 2011 à 2016, il a occupé des postes de direction tels que Chef de l'exploitation, Régions du Québec, où il a coordonné le développement technologique des stations régionales québécoises ainsi que Premier Gestionnaire de projets au sein de l'unité de transformation des Services français de CBC/Radio-Canada où il a tenu un rôle majeur dans la transition de toutes les émissions d'information nationales vers la production automatisée. Depuis 2015, François occupe le poste de Premier directeur dans le groupe Solutions d'Ingénierie où il gère une équipe responsable de tous les projets d'immobilisations liés à l'infrastructure des systèmes centraux de CBC/Radio-Canada. François est fréquemment invité à présenter les initiatives ainsi que la vision technologique de CBC/Radio-Canada lors de conférences telles que l’IBC, le NABSHOW et le NTS de l’EBU.

François has joined CBC / Radio-Canada in 2004. He joined the Company as an intern, designer of broadcast systems and then was promoted to electronic engineer in 2005. In this role, he participated in a wide range of projects and had various responsibilities such as the design of digital, television and radio systems, the preparation of plans and specifications as well as the financial management and supervision of large-scale projects. From 2011 to 2016, he held management positions such as Operations Manager, Quebec Regions, where he coordinated the technological development of regional Quebec stations as well as Senior Project Manager within the transformation unit of CBC / Radio-Canada French Services, where he played a major role in the transition of all national news programming to automated production. Since 2015, François has held the position of Senior Director in the Engineering Solutions group where he manages a team responsible for all capital projects related to the central systems infrastructure of CBC / Radio-Canada. François is frequently invited to present the initiatives as well as the technological vision of CBC / Radio-Canada at conferences such as the IBC, the NABSHOW and the NTS of the EBU.
