In this focused three-hour workshop, SMPTE instructors Willem Vermost and Wim Van Roy move beyond the vision to demonstrate practical implementation. Through live demonstrations, real-world examples and guided walkthroughs of tools, participants will gain a clear understanding of how software-defined media production can operate within modern production facilities and how to begin exploring it themselves.
Rather than hands-on exercises during the session, attendees will receive QR-code access to a curated set of GitLab repositories developed for the workshop.
