Jamie Duemo recently returned to Amazon Web Services as a Global Media and Entertainment Business Development Leader. She possesses over twenty years of experience within the media industry, leading transformations of post-production, metadata management, broadcast and distribution workflows. Her career included time with major content providers such as Warner Media, Comcast, and most recently, ViacomCBS. As Senior Vice President for ViacomCBS’ Multiplatform Distribution division, Jamie led the operational, technological and overall business reinvention of their nonlinear workloads into the Cloud.
Jamie received her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida and has lived throughout the US, following interesting professional opportunities. She currently resides in the New York City area.

Description: There is an exciting disruption underway within our industry, challenging, and actively redefining, established definitions of success. It is a reawakening that is fostering ideation and collaboration within an organization and across organizations. It is blurring long-standing lines of roles and responsibilities. And, it is rewriting companies’ narratives. For the media industry to truly fast forward, we must separate “innovation” from just technical constructs and embed the concept into core “non-technical” tenets, thereby igniting a total technological transformation. What if your development team understood their costs? What if your Finance team attained Cloud certifications? What if your veteran Maintenance Engineer transformed into a DevOps Engineer?
