Topic and Description
Gold Showcase Topic: Looking forward: Trends in Post and Broadcast

Description: As the pandemic subsides in many regions around the world and production returns, there are many aspects of what was once inherent in how content was produced that changed due to the lockdowns necessary, which caused media companies to pivot adopting new production processes using existing technologies that were not only effective but changed significantly how media companies are moving forward. Acceleration in the move to as a service and OpEx business models away from CapEx, broader adoption of IP, building out to better support a distributed workforce, changing thoughts around real estate and physical space, and an acceleration in the move to the cloud are just some of the trends changing how media companies are approaching their futures. What was once thought to be a long term process has been condensed and in this session we will share what it is we are seeing and discuss some of the key technologies being adopted as part of this shift in the market.
