The evolution of subscription and pay per view channels has been so rapid that Over The Top (OTT) streaming is now the norm.
Many think that the economics behind traditional channels are being challenged and are consequently looking to technology to
enable content availability beyond traditional platforms. To date, media streaming has had a strong reliance on adapting pre-existing technology and standards.
