Join us on Wednesday, June 10 for a scenic tour of “America’s Mountain”, the legendary Pikes Peak. Towering 14,115 feet over Colorado Springs, this majestic mountain offers beautiful scenery and, uniquely, a paved road all the way to the summit. We will leave our meeting location (MMC) around noon and will head south. Our very own Chris Lennon will guide us up the mountain. A two-time class winner on the mountain in the legendary Pikes Peak International Hlll Climb, he will offer his perspective on this beautiful but challenging road. A stop at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Experience and or the legendary Garden of the Gods (voted most beautiful city park in the US) is possible, as well. We will conclude a fun afternoon with a delicious dinner in the local area.  Please let us know if you will attend by checking the box on the registration form.
 
For those wanting to extend their visit to beautiful Colorado, Chris is happy to provide advice and guidance on additional options on Thursday, June 11 and beyond. Among the many options are: Rocky Mtn National Park (and Estes Park), the US Olympic Training Center (and US Olympic and Paralympic Museum), Vail/Aspen/Breckenridge among many more sites and beautiful mountain drives.
